The Ellembelle District Assembly through the department of social welfare distributed items to persons with disability on the 4th of December ,2024 at the forecourt of Kwame Nkrumah Motel. Some of the items distributed are Deep freezers, fufu machine, industrial sewing machine and others.
A case grant was also given to PWD’S who already are running their businesses. Other areas of support went into education and health support. In all 64 beneficiaries were supported. Economic Empowerment 33, Education support 22 and medical support 9.
