JOB SUMMARY
Central administration serves as the secretariat for the district assembly and houses various units responsible for specific administrative functions.
It also includes, managing resources like accounts, estate and transport and ensuring the implementation of policies through various units such as records, stores and human resources. The District Coordinating Director typically leads this department ‘acting as a key advisor to the District Chief Executive (DCE) and Secretary to the Assembly.

Leadership and Coordination
- District Coordinating Director (DCD): The head of the central Administration Department, responsible for overall management and acting as secretary to the Assembly.
- Strategic Management: Overseeing strategic planning and the achievement of organizational goals.
- Liaison: Serving as an intermediary between government agencies, NGOs and the DCE.
Support Services and Resources Management:
- Accounts: Managing financial resources
- Estate: Managing assembly properties and assets.
- Transport: Overseeing the assembly’s transportation needs.
- Logistics and Procurement: Handling the acquisition of goods and services.
- Stores: Managing the physical inventory of the assembly’s operations and assets.
