ELLEMBELLE DISTRICT ASSEMBLY ENGAGES HER CITIZENS IN GOVERNANCE

The Ellembelle District Assembly has as part of its mandate, paid working visits to communities to interact with them on their needs and also to explain some government policies to them.

The community engagements took the Assembly officers to Teleku-Bokazo, Anwia, Bomoakpole, Nvesolo, Atuabo, Anokyi, Baku and Ngalekyi.

Addressing community members, the Honourable District Chief Executive, Kwasi Bonzoh thanked them for their cooperation and informed them that the NPP government will implement policies that will better the lives of Ghanaians.

He indicated that through the government’s pledge of one district one factory, the Ellembelle District alone is on the verge of getting two factories adding that one is a cassava processing factory and polyethylene plant for the processing of plastic containers.

He therefore advised the youth to learn hard in order to take up opportunities that are spinning up in the District.

Hon. Bonzoh mentioned that arrangements for the construction of a modern District Hospital, District Assembly Complex and a Stadium for the Ellembelle District are absolute and therefore prevailed upon the chiefs and elders to remember the government in prayers to enable it deliver on its promise to give Ghanaians the better life they desire.

The Chief of Anokyi, Nana Avo Blay V thanked the Honourable District Chief Executive and his entourage for the visit and the information given them and added that prayers for the development of the nation is their customary duty which they will not relent on.

He then appealed to the DCE and his team to deliver on the promises given adding that the traditional authorities will also give government the needed support to deliver.
