Ellembelle District Marks my 1st Day at School on 13th September 2016

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Ellembelle District Assembly (EDA), Hon. Daniel K. Eshun together with some officials visited some schools in the District to interact with pupils to mark my 1st day at school.

The DCE visited kindergarten and Primary sections of schools in Esiama, Aweibo and Aiyinase

As part of the Ellembelle District Assembly vision to enhance quality education not only through the provision of infrastructure the DCE shared exercise books, pencils, colour books and snacks to the children who were present at school on the first day to serve as incentives intended to boost their interest in education.

According to him, the introduction of this exercise which is done at the beginning of every academic year across the country was organized by the EDA to encourage school children to be punctual at school and also help in sensitizing parents about their roles to their children’s education.

The DCE advised the children to study hard and also urged them to be respectful to everyone especially their teachers.

These gifts are to encourage you but the greatest gifts you will ever get in this world is education he averred.
