The District Chief Executive for Ellembelle, Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh has prevailed upon Assembly Members to uphold team spirit for the development of the District.
According to him, unity is the only key to achieving greatness adding that in order to realize this, honourable members should complement the efforts of the Assembly staff to ensure that the District chops the desired development.
He made this known at the Executive Committee Meeting of the Assembly held at the CIC in Nkroful on Thursday.
Again, he mentioned that, management will put measures in place to ensure that logistics needed for effective work is available adding that it is only in such vane that the institutions and the various committees can deliver on their tasks.
The District Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Innocent Haligah informed members that in a quest to promote good public relationship with the populace, management has arranged to host a weekly programme at the Westend Radio dubbed Assembly hour to enable officers and honourable members drum home government policies as well as educate the populace on Assembly matters.
He explained that such a move will strengthen the ties with the public adding that Assemblies exist to ensure development as such, when the public is well informed and know the happenings around them, it allows for sanity and trust to promote development.
Mr. Haligah, again appealed to honourable members to make use of their local stations to educate the people on events that unfolds at meetings that concerns them so that when officers visit the communities for programmes, they would be fully prepared to actively participant in such events.
