On Tuesday June 10th ,2025, Adamus Resources Limited made a contribution to the Ellembelle District Assembly, donating 100 LED Solar streetlights with 20 electricity poles as part of its energy transition efforts.
Additionally, the company provided 500 mathematical sets to final -year candidates preparing for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the district. The donation ceremony was attended by Hon. Joseph Agyekum, District Chief Executive and a team from Adamus Resources Limited led by Kofi Eshun, Social responsibility Superintendent. Hon. Francis Kwaw Mensah, Assemblyman for Nkroful, was also present.
Madam Angela List, CEO of Nguvu Mining, the parent company of Adamus Resources Limited, financed the entire initiative. Hon. Joseph Agyekum expressed his profound appreciation to Madam List for her swift response to social challenges presented by the District Assembly. He highlighted the significance of this support within a short span of his administration and looked forward to more collaborations in the future.
In His remarks, Hon. Agyekum also sent a message of goodwill to the BECE finalists, encouraging them to remain confident and excel in their examinations. Adamus Resources Limited has a history of supporting the Ellembelle District, including enrolling 100 young women in a vocational training program in 2023.
