DCE SUPPORTS NMTC TO ADHERE TO SAFETY PROTOCOL

The District Chief Executive of Ellembelle, Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh on Wednesday 16th June, 2020 presented items worth over Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH?10,000.00) to the Nursing and Midwifery Training Centre at Esiama in the Ellembelle District. He was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director, The District Environmental Health Officer, Procurement Officer and Development Planning Officer.
Presenting the items, the DCE stated that following the easing of restrictions on COVID-19 by the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to allow final year students to go back to school and prepare to write their exit exams, it was imperative that the Assembly supports the Esiama NMTC which has welcomed over three hundred students from various parts of the country to their campus to be able to adhere to the protocols so as to mitigate the spread of the Corona Virus.
Items presented included 2No. infrared gun thermometers, veronica buckets and accessories, liquid soaps, tissues and waste bins.

The principal of the Esiama NMTC Madam Cecelia Andoh-Boame receiving the items on behalf of the institution thanked the Hon. District Chief Executive and his team for the gesture. She described as timely the intervention of the Assembly in that regard and expressed optimism that the items received will go a long way to help the School and students adhere to the protocols. She was supported by the Vice Principal, the Administrator and other teaching staff of the School.
