The Ellembelle District Assembly (EDA) successfully organized a massive cleanup exercise in Aiyinase on August 16,2025. The event, which started at 6:00am and ended at 12:30pm, saw a large turnout of Participants.
The cleanup exercise covered various areas, including the desilting of choked drains at Ellion roundabout, the main Aiyinase market, and refuse collection and leveling along the Awiebo road.
The exercise was well-attended by key stakeholders, including the District Chief Executive (DCE), the Chief of Aiyinase and his Elders, youth groups, assembly members, staff of EDA, store owners, and representatives from various religious groups.
The EDA’S initiative aims to promote a clean and healthy environment in the district, and the massive participation in the cleanup exercise demonstrates the community’s commitment to this cause.
