BREAKTHROUGH IN WATER CRISIS IN NKROFUL AND TELEKU-BOKAZO COMMUNITIES

DCE and Ankobra West Rural Bank’s Intervention brings relief to Nkroful and Teleku bokazo; Macwest Company Limited resolves Assembly Staff water challenges in Nkroful/Teleku Bokazo, August 18, 2025.

The communities of Nkroful and Teleku- Bokazo have finally gained access to portable water after a two-year struggle, thanks to the intervention of the district Chief Executive (DCE) and lobbying efforts from Ankobra West Rural Bank. The DCE’s and the Bank’s timely intervention came after numerous calls from residents and stakeholders to address the perennial water supply crisis in the area.

In a related development, Macwest company Limited has also stepped in to rectify the water supply problem faced by Assembly Staff, further demonstrating the collaborative efforts to address water challenges in the district.

These interventions have brought much –needed relief to the affected communities and Staff.
